Chapter 2 Summary:

Holden is at Mr. Spencer's house, talking to him about him leaving. Mr. Spencer is giving him a big lecture about his schooling and how he needs to focus or his future won't be good. He told him that he need to play life by the rules in order to have success. Mr. Spencer kept reminding him that he knew that he knew nothing about history. He even made him listen to the terrible paper that he had written about Ancient Egyptians. Holden didn't want to listen anymore so he told him that he needed to get going.
