I think that Holden feels lonely throughout these chapters. He is calling to make dates with people right away in the morning for later on that night. When he is getting something to eat he talks to two nuns and gives them ten dollars to put towards something good. I believe that in this chapter Holden felt love and the scene that he belonged.
